Summary
This collection consists of the records of four stations in North Queensland which became part of the holdings of the Scottish Australian Co. Ltd. in the early 1950s. The company was established in 1840 and incorporated in England in 1856 (Guide to Australian Business Records, 2015. See Related link). The four stations include Mt Emu Plains, Kynuna, Albion Downs and Lucknow. All were established in the 1860s mainly as separate runs which became consolidated into these properties.
