Summary
According to the artist, Robert Preston:
"The Fragments of a Lost Place No 2 is a much-enlarged image of a clay fragment, onto which has been superimposed convention align images of plants, trees, waterbirds and anthropomorphic figures. The image was constructed over a neonthic grid pattern. The baked clay fragment (drawn from life) was taken prior to a site development on the Bohle River."
