Summary
The late John Marshall was one of the first administrators of the University College of Townsville (UCT) and was a keen photographer who took many photos of the area, including many aerial shots taken during the 1960s. Marshall was appointed as a member of staff to the University College of Townsville in 1961, its first year of operation. He served continuously for twenty-five years with the College and, subsequently, James Cook University. The Marshall Archive can be read in conjunction to the Joseph Skinner Popham Archive. John Marshall was related to the Popham family through marriage, and his early personal papers are held in the Joseph Skinner Popham Archive [see Related URLs].
