Wilfrid Bernard Belcher M.A., M.C., having been Vicar of Rickmansworth in the diocese of St Alban's, and Rural Dean of Watford, both in England, arrived at St. Barnabas Bush Brotherhood, Atherton, in April 1924. Belcher was welcomed in small communities all over the Tablelands in his official capacity and also as an accomplished pianist. In 1929, he returned to England, later serving in South Africa and in 1948 became the fifth Bishop of North Queensland, before again returning to England in 1952 to take up work.
This collection is comprised of personal papers, Belcher's diary, drafts of a diary, letters and some photographs.
