Summary
Applied Ecology was a company sponsored by the Australian Government and funded entirely by government grants. It was engaged in the fields of pure and applied research associated with natural resources that could be developed by Aboriginal and Islander communities throughout Australia. The Company was wound up in 1981.
This collection was donated to the Special Collections Archives by Professor D.H. Trollope, then Vice-Chancellor of James Cook University and also a Director of Applied Ecology. The records cover the period 1969 -1981 and include correspondence, financial and meeting papers.
